Recently, on October 18–19, the qualification stage of UEFA eEURO 2025 took place – one of the most prestigious tournaments in the EA Sports FC discipline, featuring Europe’s strongest eFootball players. Representing the national team of Ukraine, D3VA, a promising player from CyberLive!Arena, made his debut this year for the country’s main squad. During the national qualifiers, he played 18 matches, securing 17 victories and suffering only one defeat – an impressive record that earned him a place on the international stage and showcased his potential among the continent’s elite players.

The first challenge for the Ukrainian came against Jesse “Kossu72” Kosamo from Finland – the reigning eFutisliiga champion of 2024 and 2025, and a FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 quarterfinalist with Team Finland. D3VA conceded first but equalized within five in-game minutes. Despite his efforts, Kossu72 regained the lead before halftime, with the score standing at 4–6. In the second half, the Finnish player maintained control while the Ukrainian tried to close the gap, but the match ended 6–11 in favor of Finland. Despite the result, it was a worthy battle against one of Northern Europe’s finest players.

The second match, against Berkije – a player from S2G Esports, participant of the FIFAe Nations Series 2023, FC Pro 25 Last Chance Qualifier, and bronze medalist of eTürkiye Kupası 2024 – turned out even more dramatic. D3VA again conceded first but quickly leveled the score and even took the lead by two goals. The Turkish player responded swiftly – 2–3 in favor of Berkije. In the 58th minute, D3VA equalized again, controlling the game, but unfortunately, in the 73rd minute, his opponent seized a decisive chance. The match ended 3–4, but once more, D3VA demonstrated quality play and strong adaptability against a top-tier opponent.

The third encounter, against Blame33, a four-time Armenian champion and Team Armenia’s representative at eEURO 2024, who had just joined Fusyon on October 17, became a turning point. Already in the 12th minute, D3VA took the lead after a brilliant flank attack, and by the 21st minute he was confidently ahead 4–1. The first half ended under complete Ukrainian control. Early in the second half, both players exchanged goals, but the final ten minutes were tense: Blame33 managed to score three times, yet D3VA held his ground and celebrated a well-deserved 7–6 victory – his first international win.

The fourth match, against Zhasik from Kazakhstan – a FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 participant and FC Pro 25 Open competitor – was among the most emotional. D3VA started confidently, scoring first in the 14th minute, but the opponent replied with two goals in the 36th and 45th minutes. Early in the second half, Zhasik extended his lead, yet the Ukrainian didn’t give up – he reduced the deficit in the 55th minute and equalized in the 77th, bringing the score to 3–3. In a fierce exchange that followed, both players scored again. In extra time, D3VA stayed calm and composed, controlling possession, and in the 117th minute, launched a lightning-fast counterattack to net the decisive goal. The emotional victory ended 5-4.

The final qualification match, against brandsha – a three-time Malta ePremier League champion, FC Pro 25 Play-Ins and FIFAe Nations Series 2023 Europe Play-Ins participant – turned into a true football thriller. D3VA opened the score in the 10th minute, and the first half saw a tight contest: the Ukrainian took the lead several times but conceded before halftime, with the score 3–3. The second half continued at a fast pace – by the 75th minute, it was 6–6. In extra time, D3VA went ahead again after a beautifully executed free-kick routine – 7–6, but the Maltese player equalized and scored the winner in the 111th minute. The final score 7–8 concluded one of the most spectacular matches of the round.

Overall, D3VA finished the qualification stage with two victories and three narrow defeats, demonstrating a high level of play, strong character, and remarkable mental resilience. His debut for Team Ukraine at UEFA eEURO 2025 became a bright step forward not only for the player himself but also for Ukrainian eFootball as a whole.
