Meet the participants of TT EUROCUP OPEN 2025

This year the tournament brings together strong players who have already made a name for themselves on the international stage. Among them are established stars and young talents who are just gaining momentum in professional sport.

Polish player Jakub Dyjas is well known in the world of table tennis. He is a bronze medalist at the Junior World Championships in 2013, an Olympian in Rio 2016, represented Poland at the World Championships in 2016 and 2018, and is a three-time Polish singles champion.

From Moldova comes Vladislav Ursu, a 13-time national champion who also secured a bronze medal at the European Championships in Linz 2024 in doubles.

Among the promising players to watch is Mateusz Sakowicz. His achievements include victories at the Polish Championships among cadets, younger cadets and juniors, as well as a European Championships doubles title among cadets in 2023.

Another strong contender is Wenliang Xu. He is a two-time European Cup winner, a two-time Polish Team Champion and the winner of the Polish Cup in 2025.

Experienced player Filip Szymanski is also entering the tournament. His career highlights include a bronze medal at the World Championships in Ping Pong in Mexico 2024, the title of Vice-Champion of Slovakia with STK Vyhne, a Polish National Championship singles title in 2023, as well as podium finishes in Slovakia and Belgium in previous years.

All these athletes will soon face each other in the battle for the main trophy. TT EUROCUP OPEN 2025 kicks off on August 24.

The group stage draw has already taken place, and viewers can observe how the participants have been distributed and what exciting matches await them from the first games.
