We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Winners Goal Pro Cup (WGPC), a professional sports league that hosts short football tournaments.
Short football is an innovative take on the established mini-football ruleset. It stands out due to its even quicker matches, spanning 16 minutes, the absence of a goalkeeper, and a unique team foul system. All of these elements are designed to provide an engaging experience for both athletes and fans alike.
The tournament format divides 12-16 teams into two groups, who play in a round-robin format. Throughout the two group stages, teams earn points: 3 for a win and 1 for a draw. The team with the most points at the end of the second group stage will be declared the winner.
Currently, 16 teams are ready to jump into battle: Thunder Strikers, Blaze Warriors, Liberty Tigers, Titan Kings, Shadow Wolves, City Lions, Street Legends, Mighty Spartans, Siren Serpents, Football Ninjas, Jogo Gangers, Razor Sharks, Fire Foxes, Maverick Avengers, Silver Hawks and Savage Hunters. However, if you are a professional football player and want to try yourself out, feel free to complete an application form at https://www.winnershub.net/get-involved-winners-goal-pro-cup-football
All matches will be played at our new football hardcourt in Lviv, Ukraine, specifically constructed for short football. Overall, our fans can expect:
